Architect Antonio Nacif Fayad designed this building in the 1970s; construction was completed in the 1980s. The curved balconies and arches of the facade are his signature.

Since his passing in 2020, his daughter has led the hotel, renovating it floor by floor while preserving what he built: the building's character, a love of architecture and a tradition of hospitality.
